TIME CHECK!
- YOUR SESSION STARTS ON TIME. PLEASE LOG IN AT YOUR TIME ONLY.
- JOIN 3 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT - NOT EARLIER PLEASE.
- ALL CALLS ARE CENTRAL TIME (CST)
- EVERYONE WILL BE PLACED IN A WAITING ROOM FOR SANTA TO APPEAR FROM THE NORTH POLE.
TECH CHECK!
- Make sure you’re connected to the Internet.
- Be sure to rename your Zoom profile to children's names. Instructions: https://support.palcs.org/hc/en-us/articles/226794367-Changing-Your-Display-Name-in-Zoom-Rooms
- Your camera is turned on.
- Your microphone is turned on.
- Please turn off all other Wi-Fi Devices during visits for the best internet strength!
VIDEO RECORDING KEEPSAKE TIPS
- Be in a well-lit room and have some light on your face
- No windows behind you for the best results.
- Have children sit close to the device you will be using - Keep in mind the video captures how it exactly looks on screen.
- All attendees not interacting with Santa will be muted and not on screen for best video results but still will be able to watch.
TECH DIFFICULTIES - PLEASE DON’T DISCONNECT IF:
- If your screen freezes
- Loss of Audio/ Poor connection issues
- WE WILL TROUBLESHOOT ISSUES FIRST - OUR TECH ELF IS ON EVERY VISIT.
